I agree that it seems fishy too. IMO 20,500 is high for a 70k mile car with a repaint. I paid very near that for mine with 39k and original paint with very similiar mods. I would rather fork over the additional couple grand and get a low mile car with original paint and with a documented history. I did some research and the guy is a member on SVTP under the username mbsvt if anyone wants to look he has some before and after pics.

Here is the link to an almost build thread of the car.

I've been watching the prices fall since last year. This is way too high.

Not enough pictures of before. Makes me think it was wrecked in the back end.

So, where is the car? Why is it listed on PGH CL? Why hasn't it sold in Florida or the other dozen states between here and there yet?

What? So if he moved from Florida to PA (which would make the most sense), you'd expect him to stop in each state and list it for sale?
I agree that's shady sometimes, but that's the least of my worries.

I don't think he moved to PA. He is in Florida. My logic is why hasn't it sold local yet? and why is he advertising it a dozen states away? It doesn't say he lives in PA. It says "Florida" car and his area code is Fort Lauderdale, FL. Either he knows his price is waaaay too high (meaning he's trying to find some suckers in other states) or there's def. something wrong and he wants the car as far away from his as possible when it's sold.

    make sense or not?

You guys are like conspiracy theorists!

It could also be a clean girl-owned Cobra with a fresh 4k paint job.

With cell phones, no one changes their numbers anymore. My brother lives 10 minutes away and has a 717 area code.
