    FS: 2004 Subaru Legacy Sedan

Not trying really hard to sell this car so I'm putting out feelers for interest.

It's is a 2004 35th Anniversary model w/ 2.5L automatic. Current mileage is 128,7xx. I think the color is regatta red (dark red) w/ grey cloth interior and sunroof. We've had it since 59,700 miles. It needed a wheel bearing and since it was still under factory warranty, a dealer fixed that. Since then we have put on almost 70k trouble free miles. At 114k miles I had the timing belt, all the pullies, water pump, serpentine belts, etc all changed. I've serviced it ever 3K miles since we've had it. Also installed a new battery (Duracell) in January. The interior is clean....no rips, tears and was never smoked in. It has a few spots of rust in the usual areas w/ no major dents or dings. Gas mileage is decent. Honest "putting around" is 22-24 but on a trip it will knock down 28+ loaded for a week at the beach. And of course it is AWD and will go anywhere in bad weather. I've taken it almost everywhere between Florida and Wyoming on vacations and has never let me down. It served most of it's life as my wife's DD.

Now the bad. The A/C does not work. May just need recharged but I'm not sure. It worked last summer but was fading out toward fall. Had it charged a year or so ago w/ a dye put in also. So if it's leaking I'm sure it would be easy to find. The drivers side front speaker works but the rest sort of come and go as they wish. Another issue I never bothered to follow up on. Lastly, the drivers side head leaks a little oil. This is a pretty normal occurance for these cars.

KBB puts this car from $4,600 is fair condition to $5,900 in excellent. I'd say it is way closer to fair or good due to the oil leak and am pricing it accordingly. So we are looking to get $5,000.00 for it. I don't have it advertised anywhere else currently.

Post or PM your cell number if you would like pics or other info but I think I laid it out pretty well.

Nope.....it's a Duracell. I've got a connection that gets me Interstate batteries for a screaming deal (he's owns a store). So that's what I expected him to drop off but he sold me a Duracell. I did not know they made car batteries!
