    Gear change? 3.55 or 3.73's?

Project coupdy made its debut 1/4 mile appearance yesterday, gonna do a gear change but the car went 10.72@133 with 3.27 rear gears and a 1.72 60' going through the traps at 4500rpm in 4th, car likes to be shifted at 6k, what do you guys think 3.55's or 3.73's?? Thanks, Mike

This is a street driven stick car, I have 3.55's and 3.73's I'm going to do the 3.55 swap, get some passes and swap 3.73's to physically see what the car wants, I'm happy on top end with 3.27's but to help with lag off the line I want more up to the 1/8, also found out the tach was wrong, car was at 5500 in the traps, don't wanna go higher than 6100

Then stay with 3.27s. Once you get the tune worked out the mph will likely come up, right?

Its not a tune issue, its an exhaust housing a/r issue at this point, if it were auto id be ok, have to roll the throttle since the motor goes extremely fat if the secondaries open before they see boost

Gotcha. Was just thinking once you run some real fuel and start trapping 140+ you might miss those 3.27s, was thinking of more power rather than the stumble.

Been using wallace's calculator, 3.55's are what I need for current setup, putting the 3.73 and 4.10's back on the shelf for when I turn the boost up, thanks for all the feedback
