Good thing you guys didnt have to go up 28 north, idiots at penndot used tar and chip on a bridge. I got passed and it stone chipped my windsheild and headlights

Sorry I missed you Jim - your Cobra looked and sounded amazing. You took off for cooler temps before I could get any photos or catch up with you. Sorry to hear about the windshield. At least that's better than a paint chip.

Sean's red GT looked sweet and sounded really mean. It was nice to see you again and meet your Dad - and his Kona Blue 5.0 sounded great with those Flowmaster axle backs! I was too busy drooling over your car to get a photo of it on your way out.

I left a little early - had my 7-year old daughter with me - she was a trooper all day even though it was really hot out there in the parking lot. She had a great time, but around 2:00 we headed home so we could go to the neighborhood pool to cool off. So this afternoon my buddy ( who stuck around the show a little longer ) said he thought he heard them call my name for First Place. Another buddy who is in the GPMC confirmed this evening in an email.

That's awesome man, congrats! Great feeling winning an award for your car. When I got the plaque from the Attention to Detail show I felt like all the hours and late nights were worth it. Do you still take out the 66 or is on the back burner now? lol

Thanks Barry - i really didnt expect to win anything, so that was cool. Yep - the '66 is tucked away in the garage waiting patiently for me to work on her - probably this winter. She's fine - just needs some tweaking here and there...until I pull the trigger and upgrade everything...
