Anybody got a SCT xcal2 Programmer?

I got a question. It says in the directions to disconnect the fuel pump and electric fan fuses. By disconnect, I just assume they mean "take them out".

I had an xcal1 on the other car and I didn't have to do this. I asked Modular Depot, but they didn't get back to me yet. I guess the tune takes over for the pump and fans, but it just scares me a little bit.

LMK if this is the way it is or what. Thanks.

    Think I found my answer?

DOH! I guess I'm supposed to pull them so they don't run my battery out because the fuel pump and fan run when the flasher is plugged in, then PUT THEM BACK in after I flash the tune?

    Yep that is correct.

FWIW though, I have reflashed a lot with the Pro Racer Pkg and X2 and have never removed the fuses. Just make sure the battery is fully charged.
