WTB: 1974 and older f-100

Worth about $2500 tops. What a joke. Rotted out everywhere. Patched holes in the floor, cab corners, inner fender has holes, "bump" on bed. List goes on.
Looks like someone's first paint job. Cracked paint everywhere. Paint on black trim. Just looks bad.
Tires dry rotted, and inspection / plate is 2007. Looks exactly like it has sat outside since then. Front right looks like it was in a minor wreck at some point too.

I appreciate you keeping an eye out. Never hurts to go look at them. It seems most of them are listed way too high.

the light blue one looks like an honest old truck except for the repainted hood and drivers fender...suprising it was that rough.

Then again - maybe it's been a PA truck for 40 yrs. :)

I love the part, "all it needs is new tires, brakes, and paint job." It HAS to be a typo at 19K.

That '71 looks decent from the front...and dry too. Maybe it has been indoors long-term... Like John said...cheap and close.

Finally got one:

Took long enough. Very minimal rust underneath. 70,000 original miles. Every damn thing works still including the windshield washer fluid.

My work schedule blows. I have half the chrome cleaned up so far. Finally got it registered today.

wow that thing is clean...I've been on the hunt for a bump side crew cab - they are tough to find.

Rust repair for right now. Bottom of the right fender needs work. Surface rust on the very bottom edge of the majority of it.
I'm happy with how it looks, but the paint feels rough on top. May be primer, but I'm not sure. Tried hitting the gas cap with polish, and the towel turned green.

I'd be happy with just clear coating the whole thing. Probably get in undercoated and a spray in bed liner eventually.

Long term? Big block, 4 speed, decent driver with rims/tires. I'll probably still use it as a truck.
