Slow motion video question

Hey guys,

I want to video my daughter's softball swing (fastpitch) and then slow it down to analyze.
I have ZERO experience with video editing. I am looking for a cheap and EASY way to do this. Anyone have any suggestions?
Iphone app? Video editing software? Forum for help?

I am trying out Windows Movie Maker 2.6. Anything better than this?

I use windows live movie maker for all my go pro editing. Its probally not the best out there, But for me its really easy to learn and use. I have messed with the slow motion feature on it some and its worked pretty good. What resolution and frames per second did you record the original video in. I know that it plays a fact in makin a decent slow motion video as well. From what I gather the higher the frames per second of the original the better it will work when slowed down.

My knowledge is very limited on this though, So hopefully someone better will be able to help you out. Adobe has really good video editing software as well. But it was way beyond my abilites.

ya most video we see everyday is recorded at ~ 30 frames per second, for decent slow motion, you want to record in high speed, usually 240 fps (typical).. check your camera settings for FPS (frames per second) for that option, not many cameras are capable unless advertised. then playback at 30 fps will appear 7-8x slower
