Featuring 5.0 Mustang’s King of the Street and the 3rd Annual Terminator / GT500 Shootout
Beech Bend Raceway – Bowling Green, Kentucky

Although the event shows 3rd - 6th, the reality is nothing runs on the 3rd but you can get in a and set-up. We usually save the admission and just tow Thursday and keep the car at the hotel until Friday morning (although the lines are long this way).

We will leave home early Thursday. We have our reservations at the Super 8 by the Corvette Museum and plant.

If you have never been ot Bowling Green it is one of my absolute favorite tracks. Early October usually means good air there (was -400' Saturday last year, -600' Sunday). They prep the place wall to wall so traction is on par with anything anywhere. The place has covered grandstands on both sides and the fence is close to the track, great place to watch racing, but even better ot be on that starting line with the crowd there. Most of the NMRA classes will ome down to this race to be settled so the heads up guys are all on kill in good air on a great track. Usually a really good show :D

Wish I was there for some of that magic MPH. I was actually more impressed by getting from 330' to 660' in 0.000 ... No wonder the MPH is so strong.
