    Update for those who care.

    Taking the motor out tomorrow, got to late and I got to tired fighting with it.

    And the table of everything I've taken off. All parts are labeled and put in a zip lock bag.

    From what I can gather from looking at online prices etc I think I can get the bike in perfect working order with a 500 budget including tires and all the aftermarket stuff I want. Biggest expense I think is going to be having the tank and side pieces painted. Not
    to the point yet of deciding on color. (Cough cough red and white)

    motors are sometimes really hard to get out..... Usually there's a trick that makes it super easy, but until you find it, you'll struggle for hours..... i knwo from expereince

    How about getting the frame and some other bits powdercoated?
