I ended up getting 3 runs in and could of had a 4th but it was getting late and I wanted to get my little man home so we left.

    I went 11.37 @ 128

Only my last run I had my best 60' time by over .1 and was on pace to beat by best run ever then I messed 3rd gear like a bonehead.

I would have went 11.1 if I had not missed that damn shift! lol

Stayed till closing and got 4 runs. Couldn't quite get that elusive ten last night, but came close with a 11.07, 11.05, and 11.04 at 127-128. jenny craiged the car, now I might have to jenny craig myself! Good seeing you guys there

Yeah, frustrating... would start to get into a groove, then a break/oil. It was a shame, real nice variety of cars out. Scary moment when the chain broke on Calvin Collin's 8.teens Hayabusa, and he went down. He's fine, hopefully the bike is not bad.

Who, me, pick on World Famous spectators??? ;)

I was at TnT Friday night. Had a good time. My wife got a little frustrated sitting there with all the cleanups. But hey, race cars break. I didn't beat my PB, but came close. I am definitely going to hit up a few more before the track closes.

I'm paraphrasing because I don't remember exactly. In the right lane is a ford truck, in the left...I don't know. something small because i can't see it past the truck. lol again

:D glad you got a kick out of it... I'm good on the American Iron, for the most part, especially the muscle car era rides, but the new cars all look the same to me. Not dissing any of them.... some of them run way quicker than I ever will. The Neon sticks out in my mind, and I know some Evos fly. The crew cab new Ford pick up literally did obscure my view from the tower. I thought that was you, even said "I think that's Cam in the Camaro" on your first or second pass. Not sure when I'll be on again, but if I am, stop up and say hello, or hopefully I'll have my heap out soon and will be racing also.

Lots of tnt left this season, including this Thursday and Saturday, hopefully they go smoother than the last few have been. Yes, breaks are part of it, but the one kid in the truck that shook dirt and sand out on to the first 60' is something that could have been avoided, and at least 1 of the slick cars cleanups could have been avoided. Racers need to help the track out, and in turn their fellow racers (by not causing a delay), and look over their cars for leaks, loose clamps on hoses, radiator/coolant tank/gas tank caps are tight, etc. If you have a buddy racing for the first time, show him or her what to do, where you stage, where to turn off, get your time slip, etc.

I occasionally have my doubts about him, but he keeps coming back to the dark side.

Bowling Green this weekend is my last go this season except some chance of sneaking in a TnT on the 17th. Damn work cutting into my racing ;)

    About that illusive 10.99 slip....

Have you tried launching from idle (not against the converter) so the converter can flash up?

That should give you the highest torque multiplication off the line....

Got 2 runs in last night. Rain came in around 9:30-10pm and we all took off.

We had the making of getting 5-6 runs in the the track clean-ups were very slow!

I did however manage to get a 1.76 sixty foot time on way to an 11.33 @ 127.95

    Thanks!

Id love to see what my car could do if it was tuned for the headers and cai!
My 1/8 mph is down about 3-4 mph of what it should be. I bet a tune would pickk me up 10-15 rwhp.
