Question What to Expect? - 09 Bullitt Mods

Hey - New guy here, this site is very cool - good to be here.

I have my 09 Bullitt with the gang at Street Lethal Performance getting tweaked with a handful of mods, and I'm wondering what I should I expect when it's done?

I'm sort of upgrading backwards - it went in with an M90 Roushcharger with smaller SC Pulley's, a cold air kit and a canned tune by JDM Engineering.

I was a bit surprised, it dyno'ed in at 419 RWP.

Maybe I'm just used to it, or cuz of the smooth power curve of these cars, or the fact it's so damn quiet now (it just doesn't sound fast), but it just seems to be lacking - I don't know... Maybe I'm too power hungry.

Anyway, it's getting the following upgrades:
    1. Kooks Long Tubes w'Catted X & Borla Catback
    2. FRP Cams
    3. FRP Throttle Body
    4. Custom Tune

What #'s should I be expecting post Dyno?
I'm hoping this really wakes the car up.
    Thanks all,
    Steve

    Welcome to SCS!

How about a pic of the Bullitt? Is she green or black? I know 2 guys with green '09's. One is really low miles and super clean and stock, while the other looks stock...except for the Edelbrock E-Force supercharger.

I was thinking more along the lines of a "Type R" badge, they're worth at least 300hp...

(Seriously though, I'm having Mustang Withdrawal - I sure hope they get everything sorted soon)

Thanks for signing up and nice car! Can't go wrong with Kooks, I've sold and installed them all, Kooks are hands down the best modular mustang header! The hot rod cams are a NA cam but they sound fantastic and will make more peak power even on a blower car. The TB is more of an appearance mod until you get into more boost than you should run through a stock motor but with a good calibration it will have good drivability.

Good luck with your upgrades and post up your results!

Got the car back and have been driving around in it for about a week now. Picked up 51 HP with the mods. She finally sounds like a Mustang should, although not too loud, which is perfect for me, not a fan of Roadside Counseling with the local boys in blue.

Peak #'s are now 472 at the wheels, which I figure is about 535ish at the motor, which makes for interesting driveability in first & second gear. Time for a set of street slicks and LCA's - figure that's my next goal for the Bullitt.

Overall I'm very pleased with the results, and would recommend Street Lethal to someone considering upgrading their car.

I'll post the results, Terry owes me electronic copies of the Dyno's

    Cheers
