PRP Test & Tune Saturday October 19th..whos going?

    Anybody plan on going?

Weather is looking good...High of 54 and low of 35 and partly sunny.

I'll be there in my Z06 shooting for 10's!

Wish I could go, headed back out of town :( some chance to sneak to the Turkey race at MD, but otherwise it looks like I'm done this season.

Remember, gates open early now, 9am, time trials start at 10am. Pro Mods will be there, so the traction should be awesome. Hoping to have something there to test in before heading to Norwalk Sunday morning.

LOL, i'll write it on the window for you if you can't ;)

FWIW, found out the turky Race is being run 1/8th mile, not what I needed for a last shot of the season.

Lol, I wish it was that easy. My issue is the new combo is into 4th well before the 1/8th so I would still need that shift. I used to run 1/8th mile by staying in third and running through in the 3rd against the rev limiter :) I would be happy to run 6.99 at 100 in the eighth, but most wouldn't equate that as equal to 10.99. That's really what I wanted to see. In this video you can see my shift points versus the timing blocks and it's in 4th well before the 1/8th MPH block.

Well that pretty much sucked! Got there at 8:30am for gates to open at 9 and racing to start at 10 but then they delayed the start to 11am and then didnt end up starting until 11:30. Made 1 pass then had 2 break downs that took 1 + hour each to clean up then got rained out around 2:30pm Very frustrating day!

On my single pass I managed a new best 60' time but went a little slower in the 1/4

That did suck. I feel bad for the grey Supra, that is a sweet car. I hope he can fix it. (I heard his rad hose came off... got into his own water, got pass front corner a little, and driver's quarter a little banged up off the guardrail).

The other oil down was really frustrating, 13 second red Fox body, trans fluid the entire length of the track.

I'm borrowing a friend's Monte Carlo for Norwalk this week, really needed the hits on the track. At least I got to huff a little nitro from the fuel altered firing up. :D

That crash was the tracks fault. The guy in the water box saw a fitting come off the supura. Pointed it out to the starter and he let him go anyway. That car has had problems the last xouple times its been there. Dont get me wrong its bad ass but if your going to run 9s you better double check and make sure your shit is mechanically sound.
