Sat Nov 9 test n tune at PRP

Weather is looking good so far, and the way it's been, might be the last shot of the season. Gates open 11am, racing starts at noon.

What does it cost and how late do they run? Is 4-5 runs the norm?

$25 for test and tune. On the worst of days I've seen this year, there has still been 3 passes minimum. And that was with long cleanup after long cleanup.

Correct, 13.99 and quicker, rules say you should be wearing a helmet.

Gonna be some fassst ass imports up there on Sat.

And BTW pretty sure they don't care about helmets. I've made 40+ passes in the 10s, 11s, and 12s in my vert and never wore a helmet. They did tell me to wear long pants though haha

They are 'lax on TnT nights. As long as you stay in your car in the staging lanes, they won't have any idea if you have pants on.
If it's cold, there shouldn't be a huge turnout. 3 passes seems to be the minimum.

I am "well insulated" :D but even with it being a nice day for November tomorrow, will NOT be wearing shorts!

Really looking like a nice day, I know there are some fast imports coming out, hopefully there are no oil downs or wrecks from any cars, and you all get a nice number of runs in.

Why did they take this Saturday's test & tune off the schedule?

That's the way it should be! I wanted to be there but got stuck at the shop, no comment on why they pulled this weekends test & tune from the schedule...

I don't know all the reasons, but I do know that track is being required (by whoever the authority is, MAWC/county, state, municipal etc) to hook into the sewer system, and the authority started digging this week. They wouldn't wait, from what I understand.

CobraII explained some of it above....

    http://www.thompsonracewaypark.com/

    Thompson says they are running.

Salt is on the roads, Vette is done for the year so I don't care either way.
