buying a cobra but need help...

I'm buying a cobra from Connecticut...I can't travel to get it...how do I do the purchase without going??? Title is at a credit union and will get mailed...any experience or recommendations???

Notarized bill of sale is one way, there are many other ways but ultimately it's a pain in the butt and risky doing long distance high dollar transactions. I rarely buy anything I can't see in person, good luck either way!

I checked it out already but I had to wait for funds...do I wire money to credit union???do I go to notary here and make bill of sale?? Or have him go to notary in ct.???nice stang by the way and I'll be taking it to wolfpack asap when I get it...I see yours is parked in front on pic...

If you checked the car out already and feel comfortable with it and the seller, I would just wire him the money once he provides you with notarized bill of sale agreeing to release the vehicle and title to you upon receipt of payment. Banks are usually willing to be the middle people and handle everything for the both of you, I would just call them and let them take care of everything, he can do the same with his bank if feels the need to.

Yes...do you know of a trust worthy shipper??? And I'll be making an appointment for a consult on the tune for sure...

Sorry but I don't. I have customers ship cars to and from the shop but they always handle everything. There is a website where you can recruit carriers, I think this may be what one of my customer uses...
