For Sale - 302 roller cam short block - and possibly long block...

Price reduced!!!! 5.0 roller cam short block only. Maybe 5000 miles since the motor was completely rebuilt back in the late 1990's when I built the car. Bottom end is stock 1985 GT - rods were reconditioned - hypereutectic pistons - pretty sure the motor is 10.25:1 with 61cc heads. I will dig up the cam specs and post them in the next day or so. Motor will be sold without oil pan, timing cover, intake, valve covers, and distributor, as I need to transplant these items to the new motor. A Performance Products harmonic balancer will go with the motor.

This motor didn't get much abuse - only to the track a few times - ran 13.6 at 101 N/A on street tires launching under 2000 rpm and breaking the tires loose on 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4. The last 6 years or so ( maybe 3500 miles ) I have had a Paxton Novi 1200 on the motor, making about 6 pounds of boost. With the Paxton and ET Streets the car ran 12.1 at 114 with a "gentle" 2900 rpm launch, shifting at 6000 rpms.

The motor does use some oil - I believe the rings were set up a little loose. For as often as I drove the car this wasn't much of an issue for me.

    $250 for the short block.
