Junk Aftermarket Headlights for Foxbody

Just wanted to post my opinion on the 1 piece chrome headlight kits on American Muscle. I started to go down the path of installing them yesterday and they are not made very well. I decided to send them back for 4 reasons.

1. They are not a tight fit and leaves large gap on the top
2. You can't adjust the beam
3. Poorly sealed and I can see how they leak often according to reviews
4. Makes the Mustang look like an import

I decided instead to keep the 3 lens setup and ordered crystal clear aftermarket ones from Late Model Restoration. I am hoping these are better than the junk I previously ordered.

the crystal clear are on my car and the fit like factory, look great too....you will be happy

Yeah I have a set from LMR that look great also. Not on the car yet but they seem to look sealed really well. I never liked the one piece ones

went9s- You would think I would have made that connection. I somehow overlooked the LED accent lights in the description. Even without these, they still look terrible in my opinion and much different than the pic on their site.

My wife wanted the one piece lights for her vert. I managed to talk her out if them for the three piece clear and we was happy with them.




i didn't win on the smoked LED tail lights. So far they have actually been pretty good, the only issue was I had to switch to a different flasher.

I am going one piece because they should be lighter than the 3 piece set , bob where did you get the flasher?

Advanced Auti, just a HD solid state flasher. There isn't enough of load with the LEDs for the stock type.

and stickers are lighter than anything ;)
