    Wheel widening

Anyone know if there is any negative aspects of widening a wheel via more backspace versus a deep dish? Gonna tub my fox and want to keep the 17" Cobras. Save me from pulling the rearend and shortening it as well. The price is about the same and I dont have to buy all new rims.

I just inquired about widening a set of 19" wheels , Weldcraft wanted $250.00 ea to widen mine 1-1/2" ,not bad for the quality of their work, plus s/h both ways.

I'd love to widen the Brembo rears for my '14. Maybe someday...

$250 seems about average for them regardless of diameter.
