Fresh Clutch - Ratt I goes Racin'

Well, Sonic03Snake hooked me up with a new RAM adjustable PP and single iron disk that he had purchased a while back, but was too chicken to go ahead and use.
Anyway, I had the flywheel turned and bolted in the fresh clutch on last Friday, so an outing to Houston Raceway Park was in the cards for Sunday !
Here was the "break-in" pass for the clutch:

I thought that was the proper way ta break in a new clutch ?!! Actually, my plan is to shift at 6000... shift light is at 6100. Since muh eyes ain't what they used ta be, 6 grand is easy enough to see on the tach ! And, I haven't learned to trust the shift light yet (old dog = no new tricks ?) !

She don't do too bad. If I could learn ta drive 'er, might run some 9's !

Oh, that's right, she has done some 9's... 9.89 a couple of times. It took a good bit of breakage to get some parts to help out the launch, but it seems to be purty good now.

I would love to get to see you guys again (oh, and maybe do some racing), but it will be tough to make it, I am afraid. Not a full "no", yet, though. I had oput down for vacation earlier in the year, so now just need to assess the $$$ situation. Dadgum daughter (daddy's baby) gettin' married in August is syphoning muh fund$ ! !

Engine makes nice torque (680 ft lbs) in the lower rpm range, and HP peaks (653 RWHP)) at about 5900 rpms, so I shift that baby when it ain't wrapping up as fast !
