PEOPLE HAVE MORE FUN THAN ANYONE
A Corvette dick just called me a poser in a Mustang forum!? Haha
By the way, the word is posuer (I'm surprised you can afford a Vette and not know that)
Beautiful car, and awesome numbers.
What's this BS they don't make gears for a corvette z06?
RPM and Dynotech both make them. most c6z guys go with 390's as it lets you keep a small amount of top end.
I run 4:11's in my C5 and they are just a wee bit too much for long distance cruising.
Some awesome power numbers. slightly larger headers might make it a difference.
If your going to hit 9's you'll need gears or slicks and skinnies with a little weight reduction. I have seen very few N/A z06's run 9.99 or less
Thanks man!
They don't make them for the C6Z06, believe I would already have them.
Yeah theres only a small handful of HCI C6Z guys that have broke into the 9's. I got a few tricks up my sleeve and I know its gonna be a tough long road but thats my goal for the car. It may take me awhile to get there but i'll eventually do it!
wow this thread took a slight turn. :)
Rob I'll race you to prp, cause I don't like my chances once we get inside, lol
Yeah, I still need to get my new clutch and flywheel in the car then do a 500 mile break-in on them before I can romp on it. Then I have to get my new injectors and fuel pump booster in it then get it re-tuned. Hopefully I can get all this done in time for opening day! LOL Wish me luck!
LOL, not wanting to further derail Rob's thread, lol .... When you want, start a thread on those topics ... lots of option with G-force / Astro and even Z spec, then things like Quicktime for the bell, etc ... Easier to do in another thread.
That's what you mean by dusting one off .... ;)
BTW - too many yellow cars in this thread, I was getting confused :D
This thread got interesting...lol
I hear ya Bob - Rob mentioned his axles were his "fuse" so I joked that my T5 is my "fuse" ( actually a sad but true joke ).
Had to take another listen to that vid - sounds so damn mean!
