Haha....I got 275-35's on the front and 345-30's on the rear....ran it at prp all last year like that....no skinnies for me but im a fan of the look to be honest.

I will play around with it at a track rental at Quaker in June and see what nets me the best ET's... either letting it shift to 4th or winding out 3rd.

How come you don't just drive to and from the track with them on?

Gmkillr, That's a sick vette. Don't get me wrong I'm a mustang guy, but.....I'm a car guy and I do have a lil thing for the Vette's. I think it's cause my dad had a few in his day before he passed. Nice damn car, hope to see it run out at the track. I think you should run Cam lol. Not trying to throw you under the bus Cam. I think it would be a good race.

Wasnt me, I havent been down that way since last summer. I do plan on taking a nice road trip south in June though for a few days and plan on taking 79 as far south as I can....Its a beautiful ride down there!

Thanks man, I appreciate it! Im a lifelong Mustang guy myself, still love em. But as you are....Im also just a car guy, I like alot of different cars....Fords, Chevy's, Dodge. etc.....Not a big import fan though. Theres a handful of imports that are ok but most don't interest me. Im gonna try to make it out to the track in the next few weeks. Cams car is pretty damn fast and I have no problem running him. Win or lose I do this for fun....

Cam, I thought your ZL1 was in that ball park hp wise actually. Thought it would be a good run. I like it when a race is close. When someone get's annihilated it's not as fun to watch.

Yeah I'm pretty much the same way anymore. I use to be somewhat narrow-minded. Now that I'm getting older I've definitely broadened my appreciation of different brands. I feel the same about most imports but yeah I do like a few different ones as well.

Might be close HP wise but the ZL1 is over 4100lbs and the Z06 is 3100lbs. Z06 also isn't shaped like a brick. So yeah it probably would be ugly. Only advantage cam has is the auto :)

My car is right around 540RWHP, so Robs got the HP advantage and a huge weight advantage, so short of drivers error or breakage it's going to go badly for me, LOL.

One advantage Cam has going for him is that his Mullet is way more aerodynamic than my haircut. As were going down the 1/4 mile his mullet from having a Camaro actually gains him an unfair advantage as it picks up more and more velocity as it blows in the wind going down the track......UGHHH the advantages Camaro guys have over everyone else!

Well, Ive actually had 3 Vettes in the past year.....

Yellow LS2
Yellow LS3
Yellow LS7

Ive had the LS7 since June of last year, my wife is finally getting over the fact that I bought 3 yellow Vettes in a period of 1 year.....
