    Tuning

    I am putting toghether a top end and a N20 kit on a friends car. Any n2O tuning tips?
    87 GT
    93 Notch
    60 Country Sedan
    Fairlanes/Galaxies 59-68
    67 Contiental 4 door
    06 Powerstroke

    2* of timing for every 50 shot

    i would probably go to around 11-10* for safe bet, you could probably get away with 12* with good fuel

    Also change plugs out for 2 heat ranges colder.

    I think his motor is a 93 block. No forged pistions. 10*???

    it be no different then anyother stang today then. newer stangs all have craper pistons..i mean hypers

    with a 93 block i would probably go 4*

    I would get evey thing working and spray it on the dyno for the first time. Just to make sure your air fuel is ok and that you don't have any other problems that could damage your engine. You may want to consider a tune for your car so you can have an N/A tune and a nitrous tune so you don't have to change your timing all the time.

    You'll have no problem adding a 150 shot to a 93 (read:hypereutectic pistons) shortblock. Keep a conservative tune in it and you'll be alright. Speaking from experience

    How do those tunes work? I would like somthing so I am not re timing my car every time I DRIVE to the track.

    You basically go with a switch chip setup so you can switch from mulitunes. You have the car tuned for N/A and than for the nitrous. Then you can switch back and forth from your two tunes as you need them.

    Yea id say definitly put it on the dyno and make sure your air/fuels alright. I got the SCT chip with a with a flip switch and i love it. Up to 6 differnt tunes at your finger tip
