Ran a little over but today we got it done! Got it buffed this morning, the tinter came and did a great job! I waxed it with Meguiar's Black Wax, gave it a wash and took it for a spin! It really feels good to drive again and it just loves to be in the RPM's! I have some things to look at though, my coolant temp gauge isn't working and I got a code P0125 which is coolant related too.

Looks awesome! Blacking out those wheel wells really makes a difference, and those green stripes really pop in natural light!

They do fit pretty good but I want to cut the bottom lip off and make them like export style mirrors.

We aren't putting the bolts through the trunk/frame rail. We are going to weld the bracket to the frame rail.

Today I went and got all the bolts needed to bolt the IRS up in. 4- 9/16 x 5 inch long bolts for the front subframe & shock, and 2 (don't remember the size) bolts for the rear subframe. I am still in the process of smoothing the cradle but we got the mounts welded to the frame tonight. While the tank is out we are going to replace the fuel pump (possibly why I'm getting detonation?) I am also going to respray my shocks & struts yellow & clearcoat them since they are a bit worn.

About half way done smoothing it

It's been a while since I posted, got alot done but not all back together yet. We got the IRS Cradle painted, I got the struts/shocks ready for paint and I have been acquiring parts. So far I have: H&R Race Springs, Bilstien Front & Back Struts and IRS Exhaust w/out mufflers & tips. While I was out of town, I got my 320 lph fuel pump and exhaust w/out mufflers & tips. Today I got the fuel pump installed and got the tank back up in the car. I need to get diff fluid, new swaybar link ends and some break fluid. I am going to pressure test the brakes to check for leaks and then start putting the IRS back together. I am going to pick up some magnapack mufflers and I cannot decide what exhaust tips I want to go with. I am thinking of getting chrome ones and having them powdercoated black to match the rest of my car. What do you guys think?

Today we got my IRS all back together and bolted up in. We swung it down and hoisted the car up in the air and assembled it, once everything was together we lowered the car and swung the IRS onto a jack and jacked it up into place. The rear bushings were very finicky and needed persuasion to go into place. I got everything installed, shocks, springs, rotors and brakes. We filled the diff with Royal Purple once it was up in place.

The last few things to do are:

    Bleed the brakes
    Install front springs & struts
Orderer mufflers, tips and polish exhaust
Put the rear trunk gas door and interior back in
Route abs wires up into the rear seat

    Thank you

Today I got the brakes bleed and there was no leaks! (Phew!) I also secured the ebrake cables up and out of the way, got the wheels back on and the car on the ground! We charged the battery up some and got it started, everything went smoothly. I just need to do the front springs/struts and get the exhaust done.

The rear springs are still are the same ride height as my old Ford Racing B Springs, I'm assuming they will settle in but I put both upper & lower ISO back in. Hoping the front stays the same or lowers some. We will see!

I haven't done much to the cobra lately. I ordered magnaflow magnapack mufflers the other day and got them in. I bolted everything up and realized the connection to the rear of the muffler needs to be shrunk so it can slip inside the muffler. I decided I am going to polish the pipes that go under the IRS and I am going to get new exhaust tips and paint/clear coat them black.

I am hoping to get a few other odds and ends done before I leave for basic in March!
