    I wouldn't be too surprised if this was true. It would make it easier to them to get into the multi-displacement game since I think that is mainly controlled with the lifters

    Years ago, I remember all of the automotive "experts" said that OHC was the way to go. I believe that GM proved them all wrong with the LSx engines. The make 300+ horsepower and get great gas mileage. Not that I am going to the dark side mind you, just stating the facts.

    Ford messed up with the bore spacing on OHC motors. The lsx doesnt get better mpg then a 4.6. As far as power it have 70 inches on ford. Inch for inch the ford's make more. Ford just can't punch out the mod block very big.
