What would you do car wise

I would like to get an idea of what other people would do in my present position. I bought my Mark VII for a very good price. The car is near perfect. A Fox body Mustang in the shape of this car would easily cost 10K today. Now here is the problem. I am hesitant to build the car and have tons of money I will never get back into yet another car. I am going to post the 3 things I am thinking of doing and would like opinions on them.

#1. Just build the Lincoln. The nice thing about this is you probably won't see too many other built ones

#2. Build my Volare wagon. I had planned on a big block, but never did it. The wagon is a nice clean car, but shows its age way more than the Lincoln.

#3. Sell the both and get something older

I intentionally left out Mustangs of any kind for obvious reasons

What will the car be used for? 90%street / 10% track?

I love the Lincolns - of the 2 cars that's the one I'd fiddle with.

    Or...find a clean '66 Galaxie Wagon and Foose-a-fy it!

12.76 @ 114.04 bone stock. Koni yellow coil-overs, BMR watts, LCA and LCA relo brackets, Borla S-type axle back.

1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands

I think defining what you want to do with the car is the place to start.
I thought you got the Mark VII for your son to run TCR? You can't go quicker than 10.00 in the 1/8th in TCR, so there is a limit to how much you could build it up.
If that isn't the plan anymore, go with what you think you'll have the most fun with, that fits in with how you want to use that car.

i dig the Volare wagon... love wagons, and you don't see a lot of Volares, let alone wagons.

    Some other wagons to consider

Well, I like nice cars. Sounds to me like the Lincoln is already nice while the Volare is a bit of an old Plymouth. Fix up the Volare and you'll have two nice cars. Spend money on the Lincoln and you'll spoil an original car and still have an old Plymouth. But either sounds coold to me!
