I would consider it a light turnout, they was on round 5 when I left around 5:00 and the lanes was thin. Track was okay, air was crap (3000' DA). For an opening day there was little downtime. Nice day in the sun :)

Stuck around long enough to pay for a pit spot for season and then left. Had too much to do.

It was sort of the opposite of what you would think. Track wasn't too bad, timing system worked well, no real delays or big oil downs

I went 12.98 @ 110. I was leaving at just above idle. I tried to leave higher and kept spinning. Stupid stock tires. Lol

It was a pretty good, chill day! Like Bob said the DA was up, no long lulls in the action, and was really the opposite of what everyone would of espected it to be for opening day. There was a pretty bad head wind kicking too. I drove out in the Stang to put some break in miles on my new built clutch and rear end. I rolled out with that Black New Edge with the massive blower sticking out, along with my Dad and uncle in his Challenger. That Stang is totally off the hook, awesomely, rediculously insane thou! lol Its Rich Moore's and it just recently got done being built along with a 6 speed ta boot. He's been pretty much breaking it in on like 4lbs of boost over the last few weeks. He did make 1 fun run pass in it just for the shits of it, pretty much barely driving/putting it down the track to a mid 12 second pass. It was specifically built right from the get go as a x275 car. The cage in it now is certified for 8.50s. He wanted a over the top street car to play with and this sure fits the bill for it. lol You may have seen him before racing in the Big Dog class in his Code Red Ranger at the Flashlight Drags. He has raced the HOT ROD Pump Gas Drags in it also.

I saw your line of cars rolling into the entrance road...they all looked good. I was over on the highway hauling a load of hay...spent the day tending needs around the property and still recovering from the after winter messes. But do plan on having the Ranger ready for the May 6 street car night....it just needs maintanced and MT's put on.

7 runs if you took all the passes, I believe. The longest delay was getting a 9 second Talon off the track, AWD car I think, had to be flatbedded off when the rear end broke and locked up. Should be a quick ET night this Thursday, if the weather forecast stays like it is. DA will come down a good 1000' at least.
