Congrats!
Congrats!
That's putting the power down!!! Nice run, great driving.
Thank everyone. Still grinning. Going to make it easier to put it away for the next three months
Where is work taking you Bob? Will you be gone the whole time? Any trips home or family visits?

Back to China. I'm doing three months straight, home a few weeks in late July, then back for god know how long.
Basivpcally this was my race season. Might sneak in a few test and tunes in Juky and hope to get home for a Bowling Green or at least a few weekends in fall air.
Well, that 10.90 is a good send off. Congrats and have safe trip!
congrats Bob!!!!!
Impressive even if the engine was twice the CI.
Big power for 140ci.....are you running straight 93 or putting in Torco?

Congrats, Bob, that is awesome! But I have to say, that is a sad site seeing it covered up, just as the weather finally breaks to the good. I hope your time in China goes well. They have any drag strips over there?? :D
Sunoco 93 and 1 quart of Torco to 10 gallons. if I had time to work on the tune, I am certain I could now run pump 93 without additive. I have a bunch of timing in to overcome the octane so if I backed timing down, removed octane, then brought the timing back in slowly I think it would be a wash. It's insurance, but I think it's overkill at this power level.
Nothing motorsports related for the most part, surely no drag strips ... I will likely run down to Shanghai for the F1 race to get some kind of fix while I'm there.
A little more back story just so you understand NOTHING ever comes easy to me and my junk ....
I got out there Saturday early ... was pulling onto Stone jug road and noticed a hell of a noise in the engine. Stopped, lifted the hood, and it was apparent it was inside and sounded like in the top end. Decided to try and run back home to diagnose. On the way it got louder, then the car went way down on power. Limped it home, got the car in the garage and pulled the valve cover. Found it broke a HLA on #3 intake. for me that is usually a sign the springs are flat. Threw another HLA in and headed back out (only missed first round). This also likely explains why the MPH was down a bit from what it had been running.
And nobody measure those cam specs with the valve cover off ;)
You drove that to the track? i thought you normally tow it.
No, for PRP I always drive there, change tires , then race ... Most times I even get to drive it home :)
i dont on town a trailer but can borrow a buddies for the away races. I would drive it anywhere, it's getting home after the races that is sometimes in question ;)
Bob fix that bad boy. Leave it at track and I will...umm give it the proper respect it deserves for three months.
;)

I hear you on the octane...always funny to add more octane but then need to add more timing to get the power back.....
I was in Shanghai a couple weeks ago...saw a new Lamborghini something....new jaguar convert (forget teh model)....and a new mercedes gull-wing jobby....looked expensive. :)

Lol Ed, one of the few I could count on to properly drive it. Your issue would be, once you got a taste of those dog rings your transmission would be going out for face plate :)
lots of really expensive stuff where I'm living. Went to a restaurant with 6 Porche Panamericas in the lot, along with bimmers and Benz everything. The rich are god awe full rich for sure. None of them know how to drive them, just status symbols.
I was on my way to Sanmenxia in Henan province....
