I am in the process of installing a Performance Automatic Valve Body (model PA53301 - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PMA-PA53301 ). With this model, I am assuming that the shift pattern remains exactly the same in my aod and the 1-D-1 shuffle is still required to hold 2nd. The only difference is that the shifts will be much crisper and the 1-D-1 shuffle will not be as harsh on the aod. I am also assuming it is still a best practice to keep in D rather than OD when punching the throttle (when manual shifting is not desired). I will find out soon enough, but thought maybe some of you could confirm this as there is a lot of conflicting info online about this model and how it works. Thanks!
