a friend of the family has a condo there and he is giving us a smoking deal for the week

My condos rent out for crazy money during the special weeks which is good for me. The one was booked last year during mustang week for this mustang week

Yea its crazy here. Buying here is "cheap" but renting here is expensive. I don't want to get into my personal setup or anything but a house usually rents around here for 1500 a month, condos 800-1000 a month, townhouse 900-1400, and if you get condos on beach. ( I got my one bedroom one for 89k from an older couple looking to move to europe) and they go for around 1000 a week on non special weeks and 1400-1500 on special weeks and about 500 a month off season for people who come here just for winter. But it is right on the beach in garden city. The condo right next door went for 140k.

Watch where you buy though especially in myrtle beach because it goes super nice to super crappy real quick. All my houses are in New developments and my one condo is on the beach and the other is in a new apartment complex. Then the townhouse I live in is in a upscale neighborhood but one way you have to drive past a crappy are just to get to it. And the housing market is going boom right now in market commons which is a great area to have a rental.
