So on last year's trip to OBX, the compressor for the air ride on our '07 Navigator retired on I-95. We limped the rest of the way and got it repaired in North Carolina, but it's a vivid memory... hoping we wouldn't be stranded roadside.
We're scheduled to be Southbound this Saturday, me & my wife, 3 kids, and my mom. And last evening my "check air suspension" light comes on.
Oh no.
I was at Shults Wexford at 7:20 this morning... no appointment. It's almost 9:00 now. Diagnostics led them to a height level lever that needed a squirt of lubrication... and I got an oil change too! Mike McClemens helped me out like we were old friends. I'm good to go thanks to that guy!
Thanks! Squeezing me in and hunting down the problem just gave me peace of mind for 500 miles each way!
