    defective radio?

My radio was replaced under warranty but the replacement has what I suspect are stuck pixels. Pic attached. You can't see it in the pic, but the left vertical bar is white and the right one is blue.

Is this how the radio looks in 14's and this is just how the radio looks now, or is this another defective display? When I key off the vertical lines disappear along with the compass and temperature.

No help other than to point out the radio has to have something wrong if it's set to "80's on 8" :D

    Sorry for the divergence ;)

The dealership agreed it was defective for that reason, and nothing to do with the vertical bars ;)

    Another radio goes in...

I had my radio screen replaced under warranty due to the screen de-laminating. They placed the radio and my screen looked exactly like yours. You have to re-calibrate the brightness to get the lines to disappear. Just actuate the brightness knob (by the headlight switch) a few times and it should go away.
