You gotta be kidding me? Ford is giving up?They also say that Ford is done competing in the ultra-high horsepower arena recently decimated by the Challenger Hellcat. For this to be true, that means we won’t be seeing anymore of the Trinity motor found under the hood of the current 2013-2014 Shelby GT500.
Not sure how that is giving up. Seems more like they are giving us a direct competitor to the Z/28, which will absolutely embarrass a GT500 on a road course. Plus, I just don't see Ford not offering another straight line missile like the GT500 at some point.

This is why I asked about the "new" Boss 429 in one of my earlier posts... this car is supposed to be the straight line car - solid rear axle, pretty big hp, weight reduction, etc.

Anyone hear what the 6-speed manual runs yet? All I have heard about is the 8-speed auto...11.2 on street tires and 10.8 on slicks.

I actually went and talked to the dealer I bought both my rams from and got a relative number. Going to wait till I move up to NC and see what they can do with me there. Price is going to be mid 60ish. Still debating whether I wanna go that way or get an exotic yet.
