Which car show builds the best cars or does the best work?

There are a group of car shows now on TV. Which car show team builds the best cars or does the best work. Examples Fast and Loud, Lords of the Car Horders, Counting Cars etc. Throw some other shows in here and lets see what you all think.

My feelings are if I was going to have anyone of these guys do my ride, I would go with the Counting CArs team in Vegas. All their stuff comes out nice.

I usually like the Fast and Loud guys taste. Not always, but they have had some cars and trucks come out of there that I really like, usually don't build flashy cars.

And the Falcon they built was my favorite TV build of all time, and Aaron just ran Pike's Peak in it, so I am a little biased.

Like Mark said...the Falcon from Fast-n-Loud was freakin awesome. I think that Danny's prices ( Counting Cars ) are on the high side.

Foose's stuff is the best...but unless you have at least a 6-figure budget...

I've actually been a fan of the guys from Gas Monkey for about 10 years. I met Richard and Aaron at the Hershey Goodguys meet in I think 2005 with their "31" Model A Coupe - It was the first of the so-called ratrods I ever saw in person. Knowing what I know now, it was just a chopped and channelled patina'd Hot Rod! I've followed their work ever since.

I also think that just about all the shows have the capability to build nice cars WHEN they want to. You got to remember that not every build is built with unlimited budget, time frame, or to their own tastes. They have to make things work for the TV script, what their customers want, etc. With that being said... I feel like I have liked just about all of the builds from Gas Monkey - not so much from Counts or especially the Fat and Furious guys!

Gotta say overhaulin. The worst by far is desert car kings. The son on that show is very annoying and says the word man after every sentence.

I like the fast and loud stuff, because they seem to build (mostly) cars that are meant to be driven. Plus they lower everything :)

I'm such a reality fanboy, I've seen Gas Monkey's Gasser in person at Mecum in Dallas, as well as a couple of Graveyard Carz at their shop in Springfield, OR (perks of work travel I suppose). The Gas Monkey stuff looks pretty good and the GYC stuff is just out of this world. Looks better than when new. I'd say those two are my favorite builders aside from Foose's stuff, which has always been my favorite even before reality TV.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
