    friday night tnt

    anyone going out to the friday night tnt at prp? im going to as long as it dont flippin rain havent got to one yet

    It was packed last night. Didn't really think it would be that busy with the weather moving in. Was nice catching up with some people I haven't seen in a while

    Man that's a challenge. Only made two passes. First one started good but mid track it broke loose and got squirrelly. Reined it back in and ran a 12.8@113 and might have pooped a little. Second pass was clean and ran 11.8 @120 with a 1.9 60'. Would have liked to try it a couple more times to see what the launch limits were. I just basically left off idle and rolled into gas. I was looking for your vette but didn't see it.

    yeah i deff wasnt thinking it would be so busy. got there let my car cool down after the hour n a half drive. got 1 run was in line for a second when the rain came then drove home . it was my new best pass so im ok with it lol

    I ended up goin late to spectate after the Pitt Mills show/cruise. I got there around when the clean ups occured. Then heard/got a call the rain was coming. So I left, got about 10 mins down the road and got rained on the rest of the way. :/ First time the Stangs been drove in the rain in years! Surprisingly the Drag Radials didn't feel to bad in it either.

    Sounds like you did ok considering....

    I got home from work Friday and just didn't feel like rushing around trying to get everything ready. Plus I saw the forecast and pussied out lol.

    Did the tires hold up on the second pass for you? I was hesitant to run again after the excitement of the first pass but it was okay on the second run

    Made 3 passes, 1st was a joke bogged hard on the launch and was sideways in second gear 13.28 @ 112, 2nd I hooked too hard & bogged again and went a 12.57 @ 116, third one I raised the launch control to 4000 and got it moving a little better and went 12.17 @ 120. I guess that wasnt too bad for the 1st 3 passes on a new car with street tires. should be a bit more in it.

    Looks like you were getting the hang of the new car, got faster every pass.

    It will take some time, im used to launching at redline and hooking. Whole different ball game with this car. LOL
