Looks EXACTLY like mine, lol. I'm really contemplating a Track Key for mine. Tough sell to the wife though.

Yeah I noticed that. Great color though!

Already know who is tuning the car, just trying to decide which way to go on exhaust. Long tubes don't seem to be worth much over the factory shorties with an off road x pipe, and are a huge hassle and $$$.

Maybe so when speaking in terms of peak power. Average power production *especially* when coupled with a tuner that maximizes cam timing is a different story. There are some middle of the road long tube headers that make good power and do not cost as much as the ARH's, Stainless Works and Kooks variety.

Thank you for that info. I am having a very hard time sifting through all the tuner nutswinging to find real info on what makes power on these cars. I have seen a couple threads where guys claimed the long tubes lost average power to an off road x even though the long tubes made more at the peak, and vice versa.

I will be tracking and hillclimbing this car so I am more concerned with the area under the curve than peak numbers.

Have you seen actual proven gains with a CAI compared to the stock airbox when the tune is optimized for both? I know they usually show at the dyno but I am wondering about actual time at the track with the hood closed.

We went with pypes on the 2011. The install was easy as can be, I actually say the stall was more of a Pita. We don't dyno the car because we only care about track numbers. It feels Alot stronger down low than it did before. It's also on e85 as well so that could on also helped

I am running kooks with an off road x and I am using the same tuner as joe, the midrange pull after the header install was worth the 6 hours to put them on

I have seen some dyno tests but there are bits and pieces of data that was not included in the testing. Here is a link to some track testing http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...cussion-thread

One of the few manufacturers for the coyote that use a stepped design. If you can use the stock Ford exhaust gaskets with those headers by all means use them. PITA to swap them out on the ground. Second time around used a two-post lift and it was almost enjoyable.

Great thread, thank you. I do like the fact that they are stepped, and from what I have read they are decent quality for the price anyway. Was planning on reusing the stock gaskets if possible, the car will likely have under 1500 miles when I install them.

I ain't touching that car. He already curbed a wheel last night and is complaining about a noise in the motor. Hasn't had it four days yet.

He'd best not get the ghost cam tune, especially since he busted my balls for getting it on my Cali when I had it. :-)
