    SCS Fun Run?!?

I know this has been done quite a few times over the years. What does everyone think of an SCS Fun Run/Cruise in September or October? I'm talking a drive, somewhere within Pittsburgh and pick a direction? I know the one year we ran out to Somerset and it was a good time. Let's see what type of movement on this we can get!

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

I would be interested. If you give me an idea of how far you guys normally drive, I can map out some route options for us to decide. Also, if we get enough people, I am sure some local establishments would hook us up with some food/drink specials.

I took a stab at a route for us to consider that would be somewhat convenient to most except members west of Pittsburgh. Maybe west members can do a different route but meet at the final destination? Actual drive time is only about 90 minutes and would probably be a 3-4 hour commitment with stops, food, etc. I prefer to go early or later as my AC has been eliminated and it gets toasty- 9AM - Noon or maybe 5PM - 8PM.

    1. Meet at Pittsburgh Mills Mall back by Dicks Sporting Goods
    2. Follow route outlined in map to eventually make it to Lowes in Monroeville (our 2nd meeting spot where we can hang for 1/2 hour or so and let others join)
    3. Follow route outlined in map to North Park Clubhouse in Gibsonia (route 8). This can be our final spot where we can grab some food/drinks.
    4. Members can decide from here if/where they want to continue.

Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

I see your point. I'm trying to figure out a route that is somewhat close to Pittsburgh to pool from as many SCS members as possible while not making this a 5 hour drive with a confusing route. Also, I am trying to get a mix of highway/country road driving and select stops that have ample parking. Anyone feel free to propose additional routes. Thanks!
