Pretty nice truck John! I like it a lot. I like the super single wheels too. How's it stop? If you're looking for some spares, I have two sitting at the uncles in Hopewell.

Thanks Rob...they are actually super single knockoff's by Mickey Thompson = called Big Rig's. They are 20x11. I don't plan on ever buying replacement tires. LOL They are 40x15.5x20 Toyo MT's.

It stops pretty well....may do a hydroboost in the future if I somehow find myself with alot of garage time.....(hit the lotto?)

For right now I just need it to be fully functional which i will address late winter/spring.

Any heavy towing I wouldn't do with this truck anyway...i would use my other truck which is better setup for it. (78 F250 supercab)

Well unfortunately after looking for a pretty clean and mostly done 70's crew cab for 5 years, and then buying the almost perfect truck, I am thinking about selling it.

I have kid #3 due in a couple weeks and just can't ever seem to find the time to get much garage time to tinker with this one. I already have a project list a mile long between house and mechanical projects just to keep what I have maintained and operating correctly.

We also haven't used this truck as much as I hoped and don't see it getting much better. It's too nice to use as a truck in my opinion and we don't have much time for car shows lately.

Once my 78 Supercab dump truck is finshed it will be good enough...functional and everybody fits. This crew cab will just be a redundant truck for me.

This crew cab has only seen about 1000 miles since I have owned it...mostly just running to car shows and here and there.

I will likely be putting it up on ebay soon, but figured i would mention it here before I do.

Send me a PM if you're interested...i think it would pull low-mid 20's on ebay...so I will list the price here at $25k.

It would cost well over 30k to build this...everything on it was brand new 8k miles ago...except the wheels/tires only have 1600 miles or less.... (wheels and tires are $5k alone)

    couple pics from yesterday:

truck is pretty custom all over and nothing appears to be done half-rearended.

Starts right up, holds 80psi cold idle, 45psi hot idle, and lopes along.

Easily the biggest head-turner I have owned.

My offer of the 94 350 crew cab and the 94 250 reg cab for it still stands. They aren't worth 20 but I can dream can't I. I love this truck.

Hey Bernie....I really like both your trucks but like I said, once my supercab dump is finished it will be my go to truck year-round. Any other trucks are just redundant.

in hindsight i wish I wouldn't have bought this dump cause it is taking the little bit of free time I have....but it will be good when it's done. :)

Thanks for the compliment....I really like it too....just won't "need" it once my dump truck is done.

Kid three came a little earlier than expected last week so no eBay yet....hoping to post it over the holidays and see what happens.

Sounds like it is time for the ol' snipperooski.

Any of the girls like working in the garage? I'm 1 for 2 there...

    thanks guys!......

Ron - not much interest in the garage stuff yet with the oldest and it will be a while until number 2 is old enough to even know what I mean when I say "please grab my 13/16" boxed end ratchet wrench and my beer."
