Hey guys, I've decided to put my 1983 Mustang GT for sale. Its about time I let her go, i'm about to pick up a clean newer DD on monday. I bought her from Cam earlier this year and loved my time with the car. It was great having a fox body mustang for the first time and tinkering with her and fixing her up a little. The car is very clean for being almost 32 years old! Since i've had her, I installed all new carpet, new sill plates to match the seats, new battery, new rear end cover/gasket/fluid, air filter, replaced missing hood scoop insert, rear view mirror and some other small misc things. I included cam's original posting because it lists everything about the car as well. It's funny how this much less expensive mustang got more attention and thumbs ups than my 2013 Boss 302. Asking 4500. calls/texts are fine. 412-478 one nine seven six.
Here was Cam's ad from earlier this year.
This is short time of ownership even for me, but, unfortunately I'm putting car up for sale. Car is overall super clean. Had it up on a lift when the tailpipes were getting installed and its totally solid underneath, shock towers, rails etc. Car has an r title from a very light hit on the back passenger side bumper. Put a tear in the bumper cover and a small dent in the quarter. Interior is excellent with just a small wear hole in drivers side sport bucket. Runs and drives great. Not exactly sure of whats all done to it, but know theres an edlebrock performer intake with edlebrock carb. K&N filter, fuel pressure gauge, shorty headers, OR h pipe, flowmaster catback, and headlight covers. Welded subframe connectors, T5 tranny, 8.8 rear with 3.27 gears, lakewood UCA and LCA, and drag shocks. Did a few things when I got it. Factory non AC car with sunroof. Had tailpipes put on (was dumped and I'm to old for that!), put brand new 275 tires on back, installed new heater core, white face gauge overlays, and replaced all the burnt out dash bulbs. Car runs and drives great and gets alot of attention. Was sold new in pittsburgh (still has owners manual with salesmans card stapled in it in factory ford bag that was hung on radio when new. cool) It's my slow time at work and I'm trying to open another business on the side so I can use the extra money. If I can't sell it I will just enjoy the car this summer like I planned on doing.
