RST twin disc will burn up at the track despite its HP rating. I was told by Tony at Astro and Stan Peace ( Astro builder ) to go with the RXT between my 331 and my Astro A5. The RXT is a few hundred more bucks for my application ( still allows the use of my flywheel ) but is supposed to be very streetable and as durable as they come. I can't wait to get the car back and find out! I heard the Spec has a higher pedal effort and is less streetable than the RXT. Also - the twin disc will be much easier on the tranny - less driveline shock. Not sure if that is a problem with your already beefy T56.

McLeod twin disc all day long. I have installed just about every clutch you can think of in a Terminator. The McLeod twin disc will handle power and you will grin ear to ear every time you have to depress the clutch pedal.

I use the clutch manufacturers flywheel. Not saying you can't mix or match, I just avoid doing so...

Mike - what is your experience with the RST vs the RXT? They are both McLeod twin disc clutches. Do you agree with what I posted above?

I usually do the RXT but have never had any negative feedback from the RST. They will all burn up at the track, it's a wear and tear component but for the minimal money difference, we usually go with the RXT. Spec is a terrible company, don't care for the products much...
