    1995 Ford Explorer

I am selling a 1995 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4. I am getting another 4X4 so its time to put this on the market. I have had this Explorer since 1996. She is in excellent shape. This vehicle has been well taken care and not abused. She is a good runner. Owned by an older (god I hate saying older) adult owner. I only used synthetic oil in the truck since I had it. Everything put on this truck was always the premium items. This is probably the best handling 1995 Explorer in western PA with all of the suspension upgrades and the wheels/ tires.

I am one of those guys who hold on to a vehicle for a long time so this is difficult for me. I may change my mind next week on this???

    OPTIONS
4.0 V-6 with Automatic overdrive (original transmission) and trailer towing package option (3:73 gears)
    Power Windows and door locks
    Tilt Wheel
    Cruise Control
    Air Conditioning (Front and Rear)
    Power driver seat
    Outside temperature and direction indicator
    Driving Lights
    Rear window defroster
    AM-FM Cassette (4 speakers)
    Class 3 Hidden Hitch

    PERFORMANCE OPTIONS ADDED ON
Shocks -- Edlebrock Performer IAS shocks
Explorer Express oversized (solid) front and rear sway bars
Roadmaster Active Suspension (on rear leaf springs)
    BORLA cat back exhaust
    K&N Air Filter
Slotted and Cross Drilled Brake Rotors & pads (NEW)
MSW ALASKA 16" x 8" wheels specific for Ford Explorer / Mercury Mountaineer with 24570R16 Michelin M&S tires
Rear hatch spoiler and front visor
COBRA Emblems on the fenders (worth atleast 200 extra HP lol). I wanted a COBRA Mustang and got this instead being practical. Nice touch to a unique Explorer.

    RECENTLY UPGRADED ITEMS
    New plugs and wires
    New Hoses and Serpentine Belt
    New Upper control arms
    New Front Wheel Bearings
New Rack and Pinion Steering rack.
New front / rear brakes (with slotted/ cross drilled rotors)

ADDITIONAL ITEMS AVAILABLE (at additional cost) -- Specific to the Explorer
SONY AM-FM CD player -- NEW never installed
SONY six disc CD player -- NEW never installed
SONY 5"x8" EXPLODE Speakers -- NEW never installed
SONY 10" SUBWOOFER and sub-woofer mounting box for passenger interior -- NEW never installed
SONY AMPLIFIER -- NEW never installed

$3500 with the MSW ALASKA 16"wheels/ Tires or $3200 with the stock 15" wheels / Tires
$3800 with the additional stereo equipment

Some people may say there are 1995 Explorers on Craigslist for $1500. Those Explorers are no where as near as clean as this one.
Go on the Roadmaster Active Suspension and the Explorer Express webpage to price the swaybars and Edlebrock shocks to get a feel on the eparts in the suspension

The wheels on the Explorer goes round and round....

I guess I'll have to get some white stuff on the ground to get some interest!

She has 129,000 easy miles on her. Transmission fluid changed every 30,000 miles. I always ran synthetic oil in her.

Thanks! I really hated to see it go. I do get attached to a vehicle I had for almost 20 years. It was one of my "unofficial" project vehicles. As I get older, I need to focus on my Mustang. I really will miss my Explorer. Slow as hell but fun to drive (to me)!
