This was it. Last shot at 11's and being NA. Car was getting torn down no matter what happened today.

First pass. 12.0149@113.58, 1.58 sixty, 7.66@89.25. Saw slip and thinking, oh so you're going to tease me today. Only thing good is my car always picks up after first pass. Also forgot to activate shift light. Was shifting by ear.

Second pass. Shift light on. Left at normal 6400 and saw slip after letting out a very loud F yah :D 11.948@113.64, 1.57 sixty, 7.59@89.48

Tried two more times to see if I could get any more but that was it. Dead hooked one pass for great sixty but car slowed. Last pass spun slightly.

I can rip this car apart now with a smile.

Absolute congratulations Ed, very well deserved and you worked for it!

I know the pain of those low passes before ... I made like 20 12.0X passes before it finally went 11's, and made like 8 11.0X passes (including a 11.008) before finally getting my 10.99.

Enjoy it, you sure deserve it. Wish I could of been there to see it after all these years "chasing it".

I might get one more go ... I get home late the 14th, the Saturday after there is a race at Mason Dixon, day before the Turkey Race Sunday. If weather works out I'm going to try and get some good DA and see if what I can pull together for a last try. I head out on Vacation that Sunday so no Turkey race and I'm done for the season at that point :(

Ed truly was smilng like the butcher's dog. There were some nice running cars out there yesterday. If you wanted a day to make a bunch of laps, yesterday was the one.

If not for messing with timing two weeks ago. I honestly didn't think this car would ever see 11's NA. So many little issues last 2 years.

New goal. Anything in the 10's. Saturday it begins :D

LOL, you know me too, I'm pretty realistic about what is in my junk, never thought it would go 10's until the new transmission then it was on :D

I think that is a great thought .... Mine is straight cut / dog ring / no 5th but if I ever move TKO it would be 500 built like you plan.
