I hear ya Colin - any 7-liter is great - but those hardtops are so sweet. Those bucket seats are as nice as it gets too!

I'd love to have any Galaxie with a 428 under the hood.

My highschool and college car was a 66 Fastback. Red on red. 390 then 428. Frame finally let go... trust me, I miss it! My project is red on black, black top. Clearly 428.... 4 speed. Cool power options, super rare reclining bucket seats. Have just about everything NOS...down to the 4 resonator exhaust. Far away from starting on that one.

That 7L HT is now on ebay. You cannot correctly build that car for under 50. They are not out of the ball park with value. This car would sell for mid 50s-60 at AFC or Hershey.

I'd love to check out your project sometime. Those cars don't get nearly enough respect! SO cool that it is a 4-speed!

It has hit 40 and there is no reserve showing, so it looks like it is selling.

I have been helping my brother on his 67 Fairlane. I love those old body styles.

Some of these Galaxies are hit or miss. I watched a 64 427 go well over 100 at Barret Jackson a few years ago (if you havent been there...its worth the trip)!

Did anyone see that 67 Merc Colony Park on craigs list? I bought that. Interior is perfect. Fired up the 390 it runs well. c6 is good. I dont have room so sending it to a friend in jersy. That is a cool car.

My 60 9 passenger wagon is a beast. Simply huge.

Oh man, I was tempted to do exactly that, go out with $500 cash as a max offer. I hope it's good to your friend. I'd love to see pics of your '60. I really dig wagons.

Colin - you need a 20 car garage...or is that number low?

How about some pics of the cars? Or maybe a guided tour sometime when the weather doesn't suck so damn bad!

John.... it was crazy. The old man wanted 4500 for it and the wife just needed money. Besides having no miles and super clean interior it was really only worth the 390, C6 and 9" rear. I paid 500. Gave it to a friend to do a build as a tow rig for his boat/fox body. He gave me what I have in it after the 500, diesel and a popped trailer tire. lol

Is that the same car you bought or a different car?

    67 merc's don't exactly pop up everyday. :)
