Changes/Mods to your car or truck over the winter

I have a few small changes planned for over the winter for my Z06 to try to add maybe a few more HP and some other small goodies!

1.) Im adding an off-road X-pipe instead of the catted version I have on there now. (Should be a good bit louder, maybe save a lb. or 2 and maybe add a few ponies!)

2.) MGW shifter as we all know I tend to miss the 1-2 shift from time to time at the track.....lol

3.) GM Centennial suede steering wheel with red stitching to match the rest of my interior.

Not a whole lot but then again I dumped a ton of moola into it last winter.

Cant wait to get her out this spring and get everything ironed out and get some new bests!

What y'all got planned for over the winter???

Figure out a wiring gremlin in the Ranger. Maybe a new intake and carb. Thought about gears also but would like to see 11's w/ the 3.55's.

might go to a coilover setup on the front of my car. Maybe a new headlight retaining panel. fix the oil leak.
That is probably about it. Dumped a bunch of money in it last winter doing the turbo set up

I've been thinking about changing the motor in my Model A Roadster. It currently has a mild SBC that runs pretty good in such a small/light car, but I want something that every time I get behind the wheel, I feel like I could die. I'm thinking of either the 377 stroker from my old drag car project with a tunnel ram and 2x4s or an old style roots blower motor. If/when this happens, I also plan on addressing some other minor things... wiring, seat location, new gauges, etc.

I also have a few little things to do on my 55 Chevy. If money/time allows, I'd love to do a 5 speed and 9 inch swap.

Actually yes John. Going to consolidate down to a single year round car for now. Probably an 10-12 SHO. I doubt it will stay stock though

    Freakin GM's. :)

I am hoping to do some work on my crew cab:

1.) remove 3" of lift out of the springs
2.) address any and all steering/suspension issues
3.) install my ported big valve iron heads
4.) install some interior items...front seat belts, rear door pull handles...etc.
    5.) Fix the gas gauge
    6.) fix the stereo system

Find somewhere to weld in FLSFC, move battery to trunk, get it aligned. That's all I want to do.

Small upgrade list for me ....

1- new clutch, I'm on the edge of the current set up and will blow through it next year.
2- new cam, it's smaller lift, much more duration, and more split than current. It's a new design cam I'm going to test.
3 - new turbo, still not final yet, but bigger :)
4 - going to install Kirkeys
5- going to try a set of 10" rear wheels

last I need to replace my current truck. That a whole different discussion, can't make up my mind, lol
