I have the kooks axle backs on my 2014 5.0. They're real mild. I removed the resonators and it sounds awesome now. Not too loud either.

That car sounds evil inside the cabin.

Not that I have noticed but I have barely driven it. Put them on the weekend before we got the snow. Similar combo as you LTs and off road x but I haven't had the resonators cut out yet.

They really aren't that loud though. I was pretty surprised, hope I can hear it with a helmet on.

When choosing primary diameter for headers I was told by a very reputable shop that the Kooks mid-length 1 7/8" would create a loss of 20 rwhp over the 1 3/4" on a stock long block sans cold air and tune. When asked if dyno comparisons were available they immediately said just believe them it's fact.

Lowered the TDi with H&R sport springs and installed gauges; that's about it.

Found the issue with the Cobra.

Ouch! Having the shop weld it up and surface the heads.

Can't see clearly in the pic--it looks like the head gasket blew out on the top left of a cylinder...is that just a mark or did a piece of something hit right there? Sorry to hear about your issue.

Car is back in the shop now--trans is out and will be on its way to be rebuilt on Monday. Really excited to get some updates on the trans and finally not slip on the 1-2 shift. Should be able to finally run boost on launch, rather than sitting in vacuum. I'll probably only run 1-2 psi, but it should help with getting out of the hole a bit better.

Shop is saying spark blow out not a lifted head since it torched the head and gasket in that area. Piston and bearings look good so there was not a detonation issue.
