To each their own, of course, but I counted 11 bow ties on that thing. It's a super clean truck, and especially the stickers on the sides really take away from it. I don't care what kind of car make, the bow ties, the blue oval, the big Mustang sticker, the pentastar, etc... putting all those on are the equivalent of a junked up signature, going on a car.

Yes I sent that to a buddy but he is not looking to spend that much....

It would cost way more than 8500 to repeat the appeared quality of that "restore".

Buddy of mine just did a 4 yr frame off on a 79 F250 and he put elbow grease into restoring stuff I wouldn't even consider, and he spent well over 20k.

I'm pretty sure the GLHS had the intercooled 2.2 turbo - like 174 horses? The non-intercooled 2.2 turbo was...I think...about 145 horses. None of the wagons were intercooled from the factory.

I had a 1984 Chrysler Laser back in high school ( 1985-6 ). Black. 2.2 turbo. 5-speed. Loved that little car.

I'd rock a GLHS if one existed that wasn't completely thrashed. They got treated a lot like the 1st gen VW GTI's. Ridden HARD and put away wet.

I had 2, 87 second gen GTI 16v. Loved those cars. Handled like a sum-bitch. Buddy of mine had an 83 GTI. Beat the snot out of it. Sold it with over 200k on it.

Yep - exactly what my buddy said...for 10k I better be getting an XL.

He had a 70 Gal when we were kids so I am pushing him that way anyway...(but I do yearn for a full size boat myself)
