Would anyone know if aftermarket wheels that are currently on a 2005 F250 will fit a 2012 F250 properly? I am getting conflicting info but think that the 2005 went to the coil over setup.

I want to say 03 was the last year for leaf springs in the front. Offset of the wheels should be correct, I would be more concerned with diameter. I think the front brakes are larger on the newer trucks. Again check for facts because I'm not 100% sure.

Sorry I forgot to mention that the aftermarket wheels are 20 inch. More worried about the offset and where its going to place the wheel in that relationship. Wasn't sure if the axles or hubs are different widths.

I think the F250 front suspension & brakes & wheels changed between 2004 and 2005.

To be sure, do a quick search on www.ford-trucks.com ( great website!! )

What is the make/model of the wheel? I have yet to see an aftermarket wheel for these trucks with an offset that would bring it closer to the springs.

They are a chrome set of 22x9.5 Rockstars. Its one of these too good to pass on deals even if I was looking for oem 20s. I think the chrome and the color of my truck are going to look perfect.

Found a H&S tuner (build date is 3/10/2012) the other day and should be on the way today. Fingers crossed that my days of researching these units paid off and I don't get a EPA tree huger version.

04 was the last year of leaf springs. '05 and up has a totally different wheel offset. '05 and up duallys have a different bolt pattern. 99-04...8x170. 05 and up is 8x200. Single wheel trucks kept the same pattern just changed offset.

The tuner is a pre-ban unit and is currently in the truck. I have not loaded tunes because I wanted two days of driving to get a feel for the factory stock readings on the unit and get hard numbers for my MPGs to compare with. Yesterday I ordered a EGR delete kit and this morning I found a to good to be true price on a flo pro 5 inch exhaust in stainless with a muffler. I hope it makes it here without issues or a phone call saying the price went up. lol

Only part I am not sure on at this point is an intake kit. I cant get hard numbers to prove that they are worth anything on these trucks. I am starting to think most people are sheep since they all have the same exact ones. I do like the looks of the no limits kit.

I downloaded the tunes to the truck and have it in emissions friendly mode until all my parts get here. It moves the hell out for a house. Hehe

I am not telling the wife. She can figure it out on the drive tomorrow.

The exhaust system arrived over on Saturday and I finally had time to open the box yesterday. This 5 inch setup is HUGE! It is such a drastic increase in size I decided last minute to upgrade the downpipe as well to get the best flow possible. That and it should sound insane. lol If it wasn't for the father's day added savings I got, I was going to skip it. So after this last part I am finished with the truck.

    1. Mini Max tuner (Pre-ban)
    2. Sinister EGR delete
    3. Flo Pro 5inch SS exhaust (4inch from downpipe to 5 inch)
    4. No limits Intake (stage 2)
    5. MBRP 4inch downpipe (Cant fit a bigger one)
    6. MKW M26 20inch wheels
    7. Cooper Discoverer STT Pro 295/65r20

That's all I will be getting for it and then driving the wheels off of it.

Well it is Cobra engine time now.

I got the downpipe, exhaust and cold air kit installed this weekend with the help of my father in law. I will say the downpipe is NOT an easy install on these trucks just for the fact that the V band clamps bolt is on the drivers side of the turbo facing straight up. I had to remove the upper intake manifold and the heat shield around the back of the turbo to get to it then the clamp was stuck on there even after removing the bolt. I tried prying and hammering but in the end I had to use an air hammer. One little tap per clamp area on the top. That got all but the one on the lower side but a light tap on the cobra head with a hammer and it was out. The install of the new larger DP was tricky to get the clamp around put after a few tries it was on. Then we were on to the exhaust, That factory DPF is a bit on the chunky side so either use a floor jack or get and extra set of hands to get it lowered down and pulled out. All and all it was a bigger project then I thought it was going to be but when you cant fit air tools into those cramped areas time starts to add up fast.

So far I am VERY happy with the truck. Sounds a bit louder then I thought it would but it breaths so much better. MPGs seemed to have gone up 3 from stock, that is about 4 or 5 from the clean tunes. Next is to install the EGR delete (Its currently unplugged like in the H&S minimaxx instructions), we just ran out of time and wanted to enjoy some of the good weather.

The No Limit intake was a bit tricky to get positioned correctly. Wish they would have included a pic to give us an idea of where to position things. By this time we were beat so it took a bit of trial and error to get it right.

The Cooper tires and wheel package look AWSOME! They are bigger then I thought they would be. I plan to drive the truck for a few weeks before putting them on and killing the mpgs I gained. LOL

Now to get the wife her new vehicle and then get back to the Cobra. So many projects these days. LOL

I got the EGR delete with factory pyro installed yesterday. What a total PITA, the truck guys must have a higher tolerance for crap instructions because none of the car guys would stand for this. Example... Step 5 might say, remove coolant lines going to the EGR cooler. Ok this fine but for the love of god put a few pics of the step involved to get to the coolant line on the rad. I had to pull the front gill and pass head light to get to the hose clap. Could have saved some time if I knew where to go in at to get to the thing. Then that one nut on the stud holding the hard line to the back of the egr cooler was close to impossible to get for some one with just standard hand tools. Thank goodness I have tools the average weekend guy doesn't. Had to use a 10mm ratchet wrench with a swivel. bad news was the stud was about 2 inches long. Good news was that the bracket holding the hard line had a slot in it. Again the directions didn't mention this and I lucked out and discovered this on my own.

The wheel and tire combo fit perfect! Thanks again Cam303.
I think I am done with the mods and will just enjoy the truck from this point forward. It runs like a beast now!
