    Any 2011+ powerstroke 6.7?

Anyone on here have a 6.7 with any mods? I still have a warranty but after seeing what these trucks have in them with some mods I am seriously thinking about getting some toys. The truck has an easy life next to some that I have seen. Its a 2012 that I picked it up with 17k miles in July and it was never used to haul anything. Now it just sees a 30ft camper and car trailer.

    Here is a pic.

I have a 6.7. It's stock right now and hauls everything I have with ease. I have 1 more year of warranty, after that it will be dpf deleted and tuned. Those exhaust filters are the downfall of newer diesels.

I agree with the exhaust filter being a down fall on these trucks. I can get 19ish MPG driving down 79 to Pittsburgh until that regen process kicks in. Then the MPGs drop like a rock. I told my wife I would leave it stock since it has to last 250k but after watching warhammer vids on youtube I might change my mind. Something about 500hp/1000tq. lol

I wouldn't hesitate to delete/tune that thing. As long as you stay somewhat conservative with your tune it should last much longer than a diesel with a dpf filter on it.

Now there is the question. What is somewhat conservative on these things?

Yes! The dpf is one of the Downfall's on the newer diesel trucks.

The 6.7, like all trucks, has its share of issues but nothing like my 6.0 went through.

I'm running a dashdaq and Spartan tunes in my 6.4 ps. It came with several tunes ranging from stock power up to 310 race tune. I've been running the 210 tune for quite some time.

Haha not good. Its a dump truck that gets used almost daily. Averaging about 8mpg. 5mpg before tune and dpf delete. Keep in mind there is usually something being hauled in

If you are keeping it delete it the sooner the better. My 6.7 cummins was deleted by 2000 miles.

Wasn't too much of an issue when I traded it in. They just wanted the stock parts and I just returned it to stock before I dropped it off.

Whatever you do hang on to the stock stuff it's stupid money new.

I love the truck. It's my first diesel and from the sounds of it I jumped to the right one. The speed limiter sucks nuts! It will run with ricers right up to 98mph. Lol

Straight pipe, CAI, and an H&S with KEM tunes.

I ran mine like that for years without a hiccup, and always on the 345 HP tune. It does nothing but increase your boost levels, which makes the turbo do more work than the engine, which gets you the MPG increases everyone sees with a tuner. Just cause it has power doesn't mean you NEED to beat on it just like any other vehicle.

Like someone mentioned, the sooner that stuff is off, the better.

If I could add anything else to that list it would be to get a coolant filter, CAT coolant, and egr delete but not much more is needed, and it'll last forever with proper maintenance.

P.S. With those mods on mine I made 500-600rwhp and 1200-1300rwtq.

Are you talking about the 6.4 or 6.7?

6.4 but everything listed is relevant for nearly all diesels, minus the power level.

08 F350. Thinking about this as a replacement and not to go so crazy.

I'd like to see some pics as well. Sled trucks/tractors are popular around here

What are you 6.7 guys seeing for oil life?

First change after buying the truck was about 5k. I think the dealership screwed me on this. (Also checked for water in the separator at this change)
Second change... Light came on yesterday at 7052miles. I know its winter and warming it up for 10mins before pulling out isn't helping but I wish I was seeing 10k. I am using the factory filters and Rottela T6. (Nearing 30k so its time for new fuel filters and a tire rotation. Also need to get some coolant test strips.)
