My question is how do you reach the two step and line lock buttons while belted in?
I haven't tried it myself yet Bob but Timmy can
reach them with the seat moved up close the
way he likes when driving a stick car. Otherwise
the buttons will have to be relocated to be within
reach.

We actually let off of it, It needs a little more octane and the boost was still going up..
2015 A6 Mustang GT that so far has gone 9.48@147 but still the fastest prochargerd S550 in the world aside from Tim Essick's!

I have my switches for my boost controller mounted where the info center was and no way I can reach them, but I have my seat low and back, and I'm a bigger guy, I think you will find you want your line lock and two step more automated as you start to race that thing. I have everything between my clutch switch and a button on my shifter. I race some tracks I need to use the line lock on the line and launch off the two step. You wont have as much trouble as I have with the diaphragm clutch wanting to pull through at high rpm ....
I love that Racecraft bracket much more than my UPR one. Same function, but the UPR one makes getting to the front seat bolts a royal PITA with my Kirky's.
Tim made a few shake down runs at last month’s
track rental. A few more things need to be addressed
before the powerful Mach 5 is streetworthy.

Change out the 3.73 gears (too short) add a hood
& chute, but don’t think a turbo-axle is in the cards.
A few more odds & ends then get a plate & start cruising.

Love the lower mounts. I need those on my car badly
For ease of drivability reasons I’ve ditched the LSC5100 5-speed
in this car. Rossler terminator 5 power-glide to take it’s place.

I have fought over this decision for awhile. I think banging gears is
a great joy in life, part of American pride. I’ve only owned a few auto
shifted cars in my life. A 62 Caddy when I was a teenager & not again
until I hit a deer in my Subaru & got an Audi to replace it. I wasn’t
having much luck finding a stick shifting station wagon. So 2 cars
up to the PDK GTS I got last year. Even Cindy had a Turbo coupe &
motors around in her R32 still. ( I think she is a gear head at heart)
Black Bess is such a cream puff at the track that after selecting 4th
( around 100 mph) I’m checking out the other car & waiting for the
stripe. ( the sound is glorious, another great joy in life) This car is
another story. It’s got some power. Plus after getting a dragy & seeing
how long I coast down the track during a run, that sealed the deal.
I love my 6 speed in Bess but it’s not like the old days ripping a

A coupe of years ago, I put a reverse shift pattern into my mustang C-4. In the heat of battle, I could not break the 8 year habit of shifting forward. After a couple of ruined tranny's, I reversed it back. At the age of 81

I have a power-glide, so only one shift. If I start in the wrong gear I’ll
either go backwards or the shift light won’t come on before the finish
line. (Hopefully) Plus the only autoshifting habit I have is right paddle
is up, left paddle down. I’ll try to resist the urge to kick the left most
pedal & shift the power-glide 3 times. Did you know my mom & the
real reason she said that I was special? If so ouch, you got me.

Sir, I’m 64 & wish to some day to have driven/owned half the cool cars you have
just in your signature. Sharing your wisdom with me at the track will be greatly
appreciated. Even a jerk like me will listen to people that know what’s right.
My dad (as opposed to me mum) would often tell me “If you don’t think too
good, don’t think too much “ I enjoy life not just because of my family, but
all of mankind before me. Again with great respect, thank you.
