    Springfield XD Mod 2 Opinions

Looking to get a subcompact to use as a conceal carry. Haven't really seen a bad review on this gun. I currently own a Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm but it's too large to carry concealed. Anyone have one? Here's the link. It actually comes with a lot of accessories too.

If you want a 9mm in a small package a Kahr PM9 is perfect.

Love my xd. I find their design to feel a bit bulky for a CC. Best thing you can do is go look at them ( if you haven't already ) There are a ton of quality CC out there right now.

I like the safety setup on them. Is there anywhere close that has the Xd mod 2 in stock? I live in southern Somerset County. I was initially gonna get the px4 storm in a subcompact but it felt too small in my hands.

I'll look into that as well. Where do usually buy? My px4 came from gander mountain in Johnstown. I know there's a gun shop on scalp Ave that I've purchased ammo at. I think it's in the same Plaza as quaker steak n lube.

Cam99 owns a gun shop now if you could bring yourself to buy something from a camaro fanboy... the PM9 is very small.

Give the M&P shield a look for a subcompact carry gun. I have shot both the 9mm and the 40 S&W version. I will probably own one soon.

Xd mod 2 is awesome.....great design easily to cc as well I have played with both 9 and 40 and they are only slightly wider than the XDS 9. Store here in Fairmont actually has several of both in stock....I'm actually picking up a Mod2 40 tomorrow.

OK. He's actually only like 30 miles from me I see. I'll probably be buying one in the spring so I'll go around and test drive some and then talk to him when I find one I like. I need to find an Xd mod 2 locally to hold.

You our are in Meyersdale, right? Hovers over by Rockwood always has a great selection on hand and their prices can't be beat. Typically atleast a minimum of $25-$50 cheaper than every other local store... Definitely a place to check if you haven't already.

Since I've started shopping there, I drive past about 4 or 5 other shops to get to Hoovers. I won't make the trip just to buy a box of ammo, but guns and "hot" hard to find ammo, you can't beat them.

Sporting Goods Discounters. Denny Salem owns it.......he can be kind of an arrogant dick. I worked for him for a summer during college. He will have some good deals from time to time if you can stand to deal with him. I'd give Cam a shot first. He's not far from Seven Springs.
