new project

hey all i pick up this 88 lx hatch today.it's a 4banger but i want to make a track car outta it (no tubb'in)

thinking just running a carb motor.. not up to par on a carb setup's so any combo's that dont swallow my wallet to bad would be greatly appreciated

not sure on what all i would need to change it over like

fuel lines, electrical, suspension, etc.......

Me and eric looked at that car last year but the guy wouldn't sell it, said it was for his nephew.

You can check out my car to see what you might need. It's still out at Timmy's shop. I would even consider selling the motor and whatever you might want for the right price.:D I think I'm gonna seel the car anyway when I get it done. I wan't something I can drive anywhere.

yep very true... he said he had a bunch of people tryin to buy it and he wouldnt cause like you said it was bought for his nephew

but i work with this guy and he knew i was into stangs and approched me to see if i wanted it first..

ummmm not sure... looks kinda like a on the side job paint job though... it has it's flaws but that why ima make a track car out of it...

did you get your hood painted yet? I mean you can't drive down to wv with a hood with primer!:p When are you working on your new project? Just wondering since I want to learn some things...maybe watch/help?

nah not yet... i'll fit in down there lol

gonna be workin on it on weekends... ummm im most likely gonna be runnin a carb setup (thats the plan for now anyway,could change) this is one area that im not totally 100% on. efi is my thing... but change is good

well what i gotta do 1st is get the car itself setup... so whats the deal with gettin fuel from the tank to enginebay? do i need to take off the old 4banger lines?
