Quoted for truth. I often look at Mach 1's, which did not retain any special value, but to get them anywhere as fast as the new 5.0's is price prohibitive. Terminator prices are just absurd.

That car got me back and forth between pittsburgh and philly more times than I can count, toronto a few times and of course Alaska and back. Countless races with cam, flashlight drags, a few PRP missions, ghetto race fuel concoctions at various sunocos when you could still get 94 at the pump, broken input shafts, axles, fried clutches. Races won that should have been lost and vice versa. Dyno days and McDonalds hangouts...

It was the good, the bad and the ugly with that car. In some ways I do miss it but at the same time it was too frustrating to go fast with it (12.5@117 says everything you need to know about where the ET could/should have been). Loved having it but it was time to move on. No regrets with the current platform I'm rocking.

Not sure Cam can say the same now though :) wanna race? :)

Yeah, he's a traitor, but he'll come around... he admitted to me in text the other day he'd own an 03/04 cobra again if conditions were right.

Maybe its just the angle of the camera, but how the hell do you fit in that car???
I have a good buddy of mine that has a fully built SRT4 Neon, its actually the one im racing in that video posted above. In that video he was making 450 whp but he just did a new DCR stroker engine and bigger turbo, fuel system, etc..... He says the car will be close to 800 whp after its tuned. I hope to get him to come to some track outings this year.

Im 6'0 and about 255lbs and I fit in the car pretty good.....I do look like I wouldn't fit in that pic.....lol but that's definitely not the case, I fit pretty good. If your much bigger than me id say you may be uncomfortable in a Vette.

DCR is the Lord of srt performance. They have done incredible stuff with that platform. I am going to have to watch that video when I get home.

Yea its definitely perspective on that photo... it makes you look to be about 6'7" or so.

I'm 6'2 and I'm very comfortable in my c5. Getting in and out of it is where it takes finesse.....Good thing it has swing outs.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

Can't imagine paying that kind of money for that car - even as nice as it is.

Oh yea they are stupid prices on some of them. I cannot complain too much though, as I could probably sell my car for the same price I bought it, even after adding 13k miles.

This is the exact reason Cam should have one. He's not going to keep it that long anyways. Buy one, drive it for two years and not lose any money on it unless you blow a ton on mods.

And this is my problem. I fix all the bullshit that I inherit when I buy a car, then I turn around and sell it. Money lost.

I saw a 95 Wrangler on CL months ago for 7k. Frame was rusted out on the shackle points and the leaf springs had a negative arc. lol People are insane with prices. Doesn't take much to go on KBB to find what price you should be near. Or atleast check the market in your area.

I think by far the 03-04 cobras are the most guilty of absurd prices.

He's smoking some good shit. The maritimes are usually more expsnsive when it comes to the used car market, but he's crazy. Its an 80 cent dollar right now so 32k USD = 40kCAD. Last year a dealer in halifax at a 2011 shelby for 45k so why get a cobra?

    Some people...
